According to the police, the autopsy revealed that Ms. Yokozeki's cause of death was asphyxiation due to compression of the neck by a "string-like object," and it is believed she died around midnight on the 15th. Based on the condition of the body, the police were investigating the case as a murder. Since the police were unable to contact Ms. Yokozeki's husband, who lived with her, they were searching for him, believing he may have some knowledge of the circumstances. According to investigators, the husband's body was found in the sea near the scene.
