Visiting many of Beyoğlu's historic culinary hotspots, the duo kicks off a chilly Istanbul morning with warm soup. They continue on a short walk to Şişhane, tasting buffalo cream and honey to kick-start their day. Afterwards, Oğuz and Onur sample a delicious döner kebab, healthy and vegan homemade dishes, and profiterole at one of Beyoğlu's iconic patisseries. They sample coffee and German cake at a bookstore and cafe before walking along İstiklal Street toward Galatasaray High School. After a little chit-chat and stuffed meatballs, the duo feasts their palates with salted bonito and smoked salmon at the historic Beyoğlu Fish Market. The duo sampled a delicious söğüş at a söğüş restaurant established in 1890. They then visit a dürüm restaurant, a favorite of Anthony Bourdain during his Istanbul visit, and each sample a sauced dürüm. As the Beyoğlu Flavor Guide concludes with Black Sea-style rice pudding for Oğuz Yenihayat and Onur Ziya Demir, we'd like to remind you that Beyoğlu boasts many more delicious spots, and we'll be showcasing the ones worth sharing with you daily with new videos.
