William Tyler - We Can't Go Home Again - Shaker Steps

Nashville lifer and raw countrified shamanic solo guitarist extrordinaire William Tyler has been a very in-demand musician who has played with the likes of Lamb Chop, Silver Jews, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, and Wooden Wand. In 2010 he released his first solo instrumental record called Behold the Spirit to much critical acclaim. William has since signed to Merge Records who will be releasing his next album Impossible Truth due out March 19th. William Tyler also happens to be a WRFL Boomslang Festival alumn, and they will be playing songs off the new album once its released. William was in Lexington for a recording session with Wooden Wand, and he very graciously agreed to do a Shaker Steps session with us before he headed back to Nashville. We walked around and found a very cool locally owned little leather shop called The Last Genuine Leather Co. where they do custom work and provide an opportunity for local artisans to sell their wares.
