Moline Plow Company Documentary

A documentary of Moline Plow Company. (Narrated) It is the 100 year anniversary of the Moline-Universal Tractor introduction. I describe this as a documentary because I relate world events to the timeline of the Moline Plow Company business. Important events are the 1862 Homestead and Railway Acts and World War I followed by the farming depression of the 1920's. It is an important period of the industrialization of farming technology. A Reunion of Moline Plow Company featuring the Moline-Universal Tractor, equipment and memorabilia is being held September 13-14-15, 2019 in Geneseo, Illinois. It is a working show. This slide show video is an introduction to the Moline Plow Company history from horse-drawn plows through the early years of the tractor 1918-1923.
