Chorão (Charlie Brown Jr) - Programa Nossa Língua 2008 - Parte 2

Chorão (Charlie Brown Jr.) - Nossa Língua Program 2008. Chorão's participation in the TV Cultura program Nossa Língua in 2008. Charlie Brown Jr. (also abbreviated as CBJR) was a Brazilian band formed in Santos in 1992. They mixed various rhythms such as rock, hardcore, reggae, rap, and skate punk, creating their own style. Their lyrics criticized society from the perspective of the contemporary youth universe. All members of the band were from the city of Santos, except for the vocalist Chorão, who was born in São Paulo. On March 6, 2013, founding member Chorão died in his apartment in São Paulo due to a cocaine and alcohol overdose. The remaining members of the band decided to no longer use the name Charlie Brown Jr., changing it to A Banca, intending to preserve Chorão's memory with the old name and to honor him.
