What started as a relaxed weekend sail quickly turned into adventure! We spotted a boat drifting after engine failure and stepped in to help with a tow out of danger. Not part of our passage plan – but all part of life at sea! With Hurst astern, we made steady progress through the Solent before nearly running aground on the narrow, shallow upper reaches of the River Medina. Timing was everything, and we just scraped in before low tide.
