What Happened To The Drawbacks?
Magic the Gathering is a game centered on resource management. As the game progresses and you have access to more mana to cast more powerful spells, being able to cast the right spells at the right time makes all the difference. Some spells, however, push the boundaries of balance and require a little something extra if you want to cast them. These drawbacks are so ingrained in our playing of the game that I think a lot of us tend to take them for granted. Today I want to talk about drawbacks in the game of Magic and examine whether they are still as effective as they've been in the past so pull up a chair, have a seat at the table, and let's talk games. 0:00 Drawbacks 1:03 Balancing Drawbacks 3:35 Risking It On Drawbacks 8:13 The Drawbacks Of Drawbacks 17:10 More Drawbacks? --- Check in: / thefirstjakerowley Join in: / discord ---
