600 parkruns - Running Newbiggin-by-the-Sea parkrun as a Forgetful Moth to Celebrate.

The plan was to celebrate my 600th parkrun at Blyth Links parkrun but the weather had other plans. Blyth Links, and our plan B parkrun (Whitley Bay), were both cancelled due to ice. Luckily we pulled off plan C which was Newbiggin-by-the-Sea parkrun and the phrase "everything happens for a reason" couldn't have felt more appropriate. This parkrunday was one I'll remember forever. It was such a stunning place to run and the team were so friendly and welcoming that I totally fell in love with this parkrun. I can't recommend this parkrun highly enough. It was so fun to run in fancy dress and it was brilliant to be with parkrun friends who celebrated with me. Congratulations to Jayne on her 100th parkrun, and to Danielle and Faith for completing their Cow (50th different parkrun). It was great to meet some awesome podcast listeners too! I feel so thankful to have been with such wonderful people who helped me celebrate my 600th parkrun in the best way possible! Happy running, Nicola :)
