I'd never been fishing from a boat, never been on a boat, and knew nothing about boats. In September 2022, I just got my boating license and bought a boat. I wasn't planning on a trailer, so I was looking at inflatable boats and combi-type split boats. Since I thought three people would be going often and it would be easier to customize with bolts or drilling, I chose the combi-type split boat. Because I had no boating experience... At first, I had a few problems: not being able to put the tail dinghy up when sailing, getting nervous when docking on a slope, getting into the sandy beach and having the swells flood the boat, trying to put the engine in gear and start it... I had a lot of trouble... Now I'm a little more relaxed. Since the boat accident, I've rented boats, outboard motors, and been on boats about 20 times. The most common trip was to catch octopus. I've caught octopus, a small cuttlefish, a rockfish, and a scorpionfish. Boat shades, night navigation equipment setup, boat swivel chairs, launching crane systems, etc... Since there weren't any ready-made options, I thought a lot, imagined things, and built and installed many of them myself. It looks easy, but the ID and installation were difficult. ^^;;; I think I'm almost done with decorating the boat. ^^;; There might be more things I want to do with the boat. My boat doesn't have any fishing gear yet. I haven't ridden it much, though. ^^ I'll try it now. I've been watching videos to see if I can clean the carburetor myself since I use the outboard motor a lot. I also want to go bass fishing from a boat. But since power fishing is illegal in freshwater, I want to kayak. I've been looking into pedal kayaks from time to time.
