Ona i choroba - czterdzieści lat na ulicy
Today's film is an encounter with a woman who has been homeless for over forty years. She is 51 years old, struggling with atherosclerosis and women's health issues, and increasingly lacks the strength to walk even a few dozen meters. She spent the last two weeks in the hospital, but after returning, she returned to the streets. She's not alone – her partner is Sławek, whom you met in the previous film, and they are accompanied by two dogs adopted from online classifieds. Together, they try to survive the winter, illness, and daily struggle for normalcy. This story shows how easily homelessness can entrap people and how difficult it is to escape, even when a seemingly hopeful opportunity for a better life arises. This is a story about the female side of the same drama we saw in her interview over a year ago – about love, weakness, and the attempt to save oneself in a world that has long since written them off. I invite you to watch the film.
