IMAGINARY TIME SIGNATURES

This video is the first of a series on multidimensional time! More:    • Unreal Time Signatures   ~ Using imaginary numbers in time signatures is a weird thing to do but that's what this channel is half about! Next year I'll come back with quaternion time signatures or something lol. Note: it might feel like the 4+3i beat was 6/8 with a silent beat 6, but the ratio is a little off. It was a ratio of 4:1, as opposed to 6/8 which would be 5:1 (5 beats of playing, 1 beat silence). This meant if you tried to feel it in 6/8 beat 1 would always come a little late. I have music in places: Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4nS7N... iTunes: https://geo.itunes.apple.com/us/artis... Video going through the math of (2+2i)/4    • How to put (2+2i)/4 on a MIDI grid   Hope you enjoyed, see you next video! :)
