The Primitives Year - 2024

Here is a 73 second summary of how the Prims spent 2024. We started off with a tour with Hugh Cornwell (unfortunately cut short due to Tracy losing her voice), played Glastonbury, played two hometown shows in Coventry in a row, which we haven’t done since 1986, and finished off with a fab jaunt around the UK with The House Of Love. We released a vinyl version of last year’s digital single “I Won’t Care” along with an expanded reissue of the album Spin-O-Rama to mark its 10th anniversary. We even managed to do a bit of new recording! - more on that soon. Our thanks and appreciation go to - Hugh Cornwell and crew, Ceri, Sid, Elsa, Little E, Grover, Tracey, Penny, Ed Stringfellow, (Spider Touring) Owain Heather (Hapless Museum Worker), Joe Colombi (Sink or Swim), Luis, Montse and all at Elefant Records, Mike at HHBTM Records, House Of Love and crew and of course all of you wonderful lot. 2025 will be a big year for us, we’re going to be be for…fort…nah can’t even say it - anyway stick around, we’ll be doing stuff x.
