Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 vs Sony 24-70mm f2.8 GM Portrait Shoot

This is a non-scientific look at the two lenses. I wanted to just go out and shoot with both and see how they compared in a "real world" shoot. And to also look at Raw images The lens has V2 firmware which fixed autofocus issues in V1. There is a V3 firmware that recently came out that I was unaware about that apparently improves stability. I've used two different copies of this lens and both performed amazingly well but side by side the GM was slightly sharper. Maybe Tamron has invariances between copies?
