On Saturday, June 7th, 2025, the city center of Lienz transformed into a lively stage full of living tradition, nostalgic memories, and youthful enthusiasm. The festive parade of the Young Farmers / Rural Youth of District Lienz, held under the motto “Time Travel on Wheels – Handmade from Grandpa’s Time,” captivated hundreds of spectators. Right on time at 4:00 PM, the colorful parade set off and wound its way through the streets of the city, heading toward the RGO Arena. With great attention to detail, local groups from all across East Tyrol showcased how vibrant tradition can be when lived with creativity, community spirit, and heartfelt passion. All local groups of the Young Farmers / Rural Youth of East Tyrol, music bands, flag delegations, historic vintage tractors and carriages participated—evoking memories of bygone days and thrilling the crowd. The parade was a true spectacle for young and old alike.
