I climbed Col d'Eze — Tour de France's iconic climb [4K]

Hard to find a more picturesque training ride for Ironman Nice than Col d'Eze, culminating at 507m above the Angel's Bay of Nice (5% av gradient, incl. 6-7% av on the last 5 kms) During the fizzing Cannes movie festival, and under heavy winds on the French Riviera coast, I tested my legs on mythical Col d'Eze, that will once again return on Tour de France Women with Zwift 2026 for the very last stage in Nice in August 2026, where it will be climbed by the best pro women cyclists not once, not twice, but four times ! Once was enough for me, as Col d'Eze is a great preparation for Ironman's 70.3 Col de Vence, with almost 10km length, and slightly less elevation gain. Enjoy the views, the Ukrainian olympic cyclist jersey, or simply the Nice and Cannes vlogging in movie festival in the end :) Cyclist coffeeshop I stopped by at Nice's climb start right by the port : Eat Sleep Cycle Nice instagram: eatsleepcycle_nice (not sponsored !!)
