#yaesu #ft991a #hamradio I get requests to share my transmit audio settings. In this video I show some recommended transmit audio settings that can be used as a starting point for the FT-991A. Note that these settings were for my friend Joel's voice. You might use these settings initially and then tweak them to tailor the transmit audio for your specific voice. Also consider using the parameters from video #4 of the Ftdx10 series. Those are for my voice. The settings are also part of a menu optimizations PDF that I created. The PDF covers all of the menu changes I make to the FT-991A. There are other PDFs available for the other Yaesu radios featured on this channel. Correction: I accidentally referred to the width setting as being 1 for narrow and 10 for wide. It is the reverse of that. 10 for narrow and 1 for wide. The width is actually a Q (Quality) factor.
