His musical path brought him to also study with the following teachers: Bruno Giuranna, Vladimir Mendelssohn and Wolfram Christ. In the field of contemporary music he performed numerous works and also absolute primes he performed in Luxembourg (music of F.Donatoni), in Munich (Schloss Elmau, music of G.Scelsi), at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana (Sequence VI, music of L.Berio), and at GOG in Genoa (“Of the sound that doesn’t make noise”, music of Fanticini),GAMO ( Fi ) ( " Toccatina " per violino solo di H. Lachenman ). Viola player founder of the Quartetto Prometeo, with this group won awards in national and international contests: Prague Spring International Competition, Concours International de Quator in Bordeaux, and Quartet International competition ARD in Munich. Collaborating with soloists and chamber musicians of international renoown, they gave concerts in Europe, Japan and South America. He registered for BBC Radio 3, RAI Radio 3, OFR Austrian National Radio, and ARD of Munich. He recorded for BMG Ricordi Spa, Real Sound, Zig Zag, Limen Music, and Kairos. He was a teacher of string quartet at the school “O.Vecchi” in Modena and a teacher of viola at the Scuola di Musica of Fiesole in Florence. He currently holds the chair of viola at the I.S.S.M. “Rinaldo Franci” in Siena. Plays a italian viola "Igino Sderci ( 1939 ).He's the viola player of " Quartetto di Roma ".
