Beatriz Roberta came from the interior of São Paulo state, studied at a private university with a full scholarship, and worked as a general practitioner before dedicating herself to residency. Today she is a resident in Intensive Care Medicine at USP (University of São Paulo). Beatriz's journey proves that successful preparation doesn't need to be perfect preparation. She achieved acceptances at USP São Paulo, USP Ribeirão, Unesp, Famerp, and AMP while working, dealing with discouragement, drops in performance on mock exams, personal health issues, and a study routine that she herself describes as anything but linear.
