Happy Camp from Helo - June 5, 2021

A good visual of how close the Slater fire came to wiping out the community of Happy Camp. We fly from the Happy Camp Airport southwest and then head northeast looking up the Klamath River. Then the focus is north as we look up Indian Creek Road. We fly over the Indian Meadows subdivision and along Buckhorn Road before landing back at the airport. It is a good view of the amount of devastation that occurred here during the Slater Fire 9 months ago.
