The Home Office considers many factors to determine whether you are of good character. They will check whether you pay taxes, have no criminal record, have not broken any immigration laws, etc. 🇬🇧 Have two referees, i.e., people who will confirm your identity. They must have known you for at least three years, at least one of them must be British citizen, work in an "acceptable professional" profession, and be at least 25 years old. 🇬🇧 You cannot have been outside the UK for more than 450 days in the last five years, and this period is a maximum of 90 days in the last 12 months. 🇬🇧 A very important point: on the day of submitting your application, you must be certain that you were physically present in the UK exactly five years ago. 🇬🇧 You will need to provide the following details: Your parents Your spouse, wife, or civil partner. After submitting your online application, you don't need to physically send any documents anywhere. All required documents are scanned into the UKVCAS (UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services) system, which is a subcontractor of the Home Office. You also need to attend a biometrics interview, where your fingerprints are taken, and this must be done within 45 days of submitting your citizenship application, which also takes place at a UKVCAS center.
