In an interview with journalist Roberto D’Ávila this Tuesday (30), the national president of the PSD, Gilberto Kassab, maintained the mystery on the eve of the official announcement of the vice-presidential candidate on Ronaldo Caiado's ticket. Although he is pointed out behind the scenes as the main contender for the position, Kassab avoided confirming whether he will accept the invitation. “The vice-presidential candidate is a choice of the president. It will be up to our Ronaldo Caiado, who will announce tomorrow (01), who his vice-president will be,” he said evasively. Without confirming his name, the leader stated that the ticket needs a vice-president with “experience in public life” and strong political articulation skills. During the interview, Kassab also praised the PSD pre-candidate as the main alternative to break the polarization in the country. “Few in Brazil have Caiado's history. He doesn't have any compromise to his image in the moral field, he doesn't have any accusations throughout his life.
