Motorcycle Trail Ride in Ocala National Forest Florida, KTM XC-W 300

Hi: This is a video taken in Ocala National Forest, Florida on 7/17/2016. The motorcycle is a 2015 KTM XC-W 300. The Helmet mounted camera is a Sony FDR-X1000V 4K Action Camera. The camera settings are: 1080, 60p, MP4, Steady Shot on, 120 degrees. I’m a little lost in this video. The trails shown here are for motorcycle only. This makes them fairly, to very, narrow. As the first (and likely only) rider on this trail this day, it was my job to clear the spiders off the path. These are huge banana spiders, and the like. Riding through the trails with one dangling off a visor in front of the goggles is … a moving experience. At one point, ducking one of MANY webs across the trail had an undesirable effect. I believe the force of my bike hitting the web pulled a tree out onto the trail and into my path. Ocala’s trails are all bidirectional. So, oncoming traffic may be around ANY corner. This caused me to ride at a slower pace. Also, I was alone, with no one to find my body if I had a bad crash. Although I had a rugged phone, there is no phone signal in most of the forest. This added to my cautious driving (and the spiders) Despite my unaffectionate feelings towards the eight legged venomous creatures, I wouldn’t want to be any other place. It was a great day. I started riding before 10:00am, and buzzed along till around 4:30pm. I only stopped because I had a 2-1/2 hour ride back home, which I arrive at by 8:00pm. Two batteries were used on this ride, resulting in a number of files from that day. Some more could be posted.
