Jhal Magsi (جھل مگسی) is a town in Jhal Magsi District, Balochistan, Pakistan. It is a purely Baloch area and was part of the Kalat native state during the colonial period. The town is the headquarters of the Magsi tribe (or clan), the major tribe within the district. Historically, the Magsi are a branch of the Lashari tribe. The present leader sardar of the Balochistan Magsi tribe is Zulfqar Ali Khan Magsi, former chief minister of Balochistan. A desert car rally arranged every year as Jhal Magsi Desert Race. The racers participate allover the Pakistan. This was 16th race at Jhal Magsi. We have brought the final results of all categories of this race. Category A Prepared: Asif Fazal Chaudhary won the A Prepared category as he completed the track in 1 hour, 23 minutes and 52 seconds. Meanwhile, Nadir Magsi bagged the second position, after reaching the finish line in 1 hour, 27 minutes, and 20 seconds. Jaffar Magsi was the third one at the podium, as he completed the track in 1 hour, 27 minutes and 37 seconds. Jhal Magsi 2020-Category B Prepared: Nauman Khan was the victorious in this category as he finished the track in 1 hour, 38 minutes and 58 seconds, while Owais Khakwani reached the finish line in 1 hour, 43 minutes and 6 seconds, claiming the second position. Meanwhile, Asad Shadikhel was at third position with 1 hour, 44 minutes and 25 seconds on the clock. Category A Stock: The A Stock Category was won by Taimur Khawaja by completing the track in 1 hour, 36 minutes, and 24 seconds. Jeyand Hoth was the runner-up, as he reached the finish line in 1 hour, 38 minutes and 40 seconds, while Haji Waheed Lehri won the third position by ending the race in 1 hour, 40 minutes and 41 seconds. Haji Umair Nawaz Kurd Got the Fourth Position By Ending In 1 Hour, 40 Minutes And 41 Seconds. Jhal Magsi 2020-Category B Stock: Sultan Bahadur Aziz was declared the winner of this category as he reached the finishing line in 1 hour, 42 minutes and 34 seconds, while Aziz Rafique was the runner-up as he completed the course in 1 hour, 46 minutes and 23 seconds. Furthermore, Danish Peshimam got the third position, after he reached the ending point in 1 hour, 47 minutes and 59 seconds. Category C Prepared: Gohal Aslam Sangi was declared the winner of this category as he completed the track in 1 hour, 47 minutes and 13 seconds. Meanwhile, Hammal Hoth was the runner-up as he reached the finishing line in 1 hour, 59 minutes and 5 seconds. Jhal Magsi 2020-Category D Prepared: The D Prepared Category was won by Zafar Khan Balouch, as he finished the race in 1 hour, 49 minutes and 59 seconds, while Beiwargh Mazari came in second after completing the track in 1 hour, 55 minutes and 1 seconds. The third position was bagged by Falak Sher Khan, as he reached the ending point in 2 hours, 15 minutes and 4 seconds. Jhal Magsi 2020-Category C Stock: Hassaan Jahandir won this category by completing the course in 1 hour, 56 minutes and 31 seconds, while Muhammad Magsi came at second by finishing the race in 2 hours, 3 minutes and 7 seconds. Meanwhile, Malik Babar Ijaz completed the race in 2 hours, 9 minutes and 32 seconds. Jhal Magsi 2020-Category D Stock: Shakeel Bhurchundi won the top position by reaching finishing line in 2 hours, 3 minutes and 43 seconds. Babar Marri was at the second position, as he completed the track in 2 hours, 14 minutes and 21 seconds.
