Beginner hike for Japan’s rainy season

As a beginner hiker in Japan, I am doing easy hikes to build up my strength and confidence while also learning (and making mistakes) how to use Japan’s hiking application: Yamap. It’s a great resource that I need to get used to using if I want to take on bigger hikes. Since rainy season has started, it’s still good to get out there and walk low risk trails. Kamakura Alps was a great choice! The Alps in Kamakura Alps does not refer to an alpine environment (as its definitely not that!) but more for the name of the network of mountains and trails.
