CONDOR Boeing 757-300 - Dusseldorf to Palma de Mallorca 24/06/25

Onboard another Condor Boeing 757-300 "pencil" - sadly this will probably be my last time on one before their retirement later this year. This time doing the work was D-ABON, a 25 year old aircraft in special "Wir Lieben Fliegen" livery. A busy flight from what I could see, no empty seats visible in my area of the aircraft at all. Once all was onboard a very brief announcement from the flight deck and we began pushing back just as the heavens opened. A torrential downpour of rain as we taxied out for departure, made for quite some dramatic scenes with the rain as we powerfully accelerate and climb off in the grey skies over Dusseldorf. Some fantastic RB211 engine sounds, of course, during the climb as well. A few step by step climb means the engines spool up & down a few times which sounds fantastic. Once out above the cloud coverage, we climbed up to 35,000ft. Crossing over Switzerland, Lake Geneva visible, then south west towards Majorca. Very hot day in Majorca, 36 degrees at the time of landing.
