Jambo the Gorilla | The Gentle Giant | Documentary

Jambo the Gorilla shot to international fame in 1986 when a five-year-old boy fell into the gorilla enclosure at the Jersey Zoo and lost consciousness. Jambo stood guard over the boy while he was unconscious, placing himself between the boy and other gorillas. https://bit.ly/2ykEYHf He later stroked the unconscious boy. When the boy regained consciousness and started to cry, Jambo and the other gorillas retreated, and an ambulance man and two keepers rescued the boy.
