長崎神社巡り。高来郡の川上神社と淀姫神社

I visited a shrine in Nagasaki dedicated to the mysterious Yodohime (Yodohime). The head shrine is Yodohime Shrine in Yamato-cho, Saga City, Saga Prefecture. She is the goddess of the sea, rivers, and water. Yodohime-no-Mikoto is said to be the younger sister of Empress Jingu. Another theory suggests she is Toyotamahime. In the surviving fragments of the Hizen Province Fudoki (annotation in the list of deities), "Yodohime-no-Kami" is also known as "Toyohime" and "Yodohime." There are many shrines dedicated to Yodohime-no-Kami (Yodohime-no-Kami) in the northern Kyushu region, centered around Saga Prefecture. Is there a connection to Toyo of Yamatai-koku...?
