Der Adolph-Bermpohl-Orkan - In der Hölle vor Helgoland - Dokumentation 2021 | 4K

A documentary from 2021 Dear friends, A small, big, and somewhat different post here on my channel; one of the most complex productions I've been able to realize to date with my small team and the help of extremely friendly and helpful third parties! You can see the result here – I really hope you enjoy it and learn a little about the so-called "Adolph Bermpohl Hurricane," the most severe storm ever recorded in the German North Sea coast! Many thanks to the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS) and the German Meteorological Service; Dr. Birger Tinz! On February 23, 1967, one of the most severe storms in German history hit the German North Sea coast: The so-called "Adolph Bermpohl Hurricane." The hurricane caused several million euros in damage to the North Sea coast. Off the coast, the sea rescue cruiser "Adolph Bermpohl" battles its way through the raging waters to assist a motor vessel in distress. But en route, the rescue cruiser receives another distress call: a Dutch fishing boat reports flooding. The Adolph Bermpohl, with its four-person crew, embarks on a rescue mission between the heavens and the hells of the rough sea. The transfer of the fishermen from their sinking boat to the rescue cruiser is successful – but the events that follow abruptly push even the most modern technology of the time to its limits.
