Visual Kei was a Japanese movement that shook Japanese culture in the 80's. In the late 2000's, it had another resurgence leaving a lasting impact on the Japanese pop culture we know today whilst also branching out to other countries around the world. But how and why? We look at the history of Visual Kei and how it has made its mark on Japanese pop culture, and pop culture around the world. P.S. I sincerely apologise for sometimes saying Visual Kei as Visual Kai.
