Despite recent success in the Olympics, and the rise to one of the best national teams in the world. The current road to a professional career for Canadians is not an easy one. The narrative pushes talent to be developed elsewhere outside of Canada, which has seen numbers of youth playing soccer to decline. Mabel Dunn, a talented ex D1 Canadian goalkeeper shares her journey. Mabel's work ethic presented an opportunity to play in the USA, but what happens after when there is no league to play in at home?
