MUJERES NÓRDICAS en las calles de ESTOCOLMO, SUECIA

In this world of contrasts and contradictory advice, between the stress of work and the demands of fashion, the Swedes found an escape. We've already talked about lagom, the Swedish secret to the good life, in a previous video. Now we'll see how this translates into beauty. Nordic women, often portrayed as indifferent or with their stereotypical Scandinavian coldness, translate their affinity for the right amount of lagom into a way of avoiding both excess and limitations. This philosophical concept has spread to the other Nordic countries in recent years. Seeing them acting within this range allows us to better understand what makes them happy and what works best for their well-being: the virtue of the middle ground. In one way or another, Nordic women find in beauty, in their inner and outer care, the result of optimal decision-making. We can perceive the excellent result of this virtue when walking through these streets of Stockholm. And we're left thinking about that inextricable relationship between interior and exterior, between academic preparation, social respect, makeup, and language. The architect Vitruvius, one of the fathers of Greco-Roman architectural theory that has had so much influence over the last two millennia, said that there were three conditions for good execution: firmness, utility, and beauty. And the Swedes know how to apply that triangle well. Everything else is superfluous. Perhaps that's why, for the Swedes, expressing the obvious is unnecessary. Keeping silent as much as possible is, for them, a way of reducing stress in an already stressful situation, without making each other uncomfortable through excessive conversation and gestures. And this is noticeable in the atmosphere, so different from that of other latitudes we know. The afternoon was falling in the King's Garden in Stockholm. The cherry trees, already in bloom, provided the perfect setting for this feast for the eyes. 🌎 Subtitles in Portuguese, Italian, German, French, Russian, and English. 🔎 I'm Gustavo Llusá, from Argentina.
