Can I Beat Pokemon Heart Gold with ONLY Version Exclusives?

In the pokemon franchise, pokemon games came in pairs with some differences, mostly the version exclusives. There are a lot of pokemon in heartGold and soulsilver, some only available in one or the other. For example spinarak, gligar, mantine, phanpy, mankey and growlithe are only available in heartgold. Having Arcanine in the team looks great. Is it possible to beat the Pokemon challenge in Heart Gold with only version exclusive pokemon? And I don't use any items in battle. So, no Full Restore or Revives while battling! Please enjoy!
