The Motherhood of God - Isaiah 66:6-13 | Skip Heitzig
No, I’m not a heretic! I realize God is portrayed in Scripture as our Father and that Jesus taught us to address Him as such. But in this passage, God compares Himself to a mother. On this day that we celebrate and honor the moms among us, we also pause to consider how God promises the tender care that is so second nature for a human mother to His own people. Let’s look together at a side of God that is rarely, if ever, contemplated, let alone celebrated. This teaching is from the series of Mother's Day Messages with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Church.
