Mallari is a traditional and vibrant composition in the Carnatic music tradition, originally performed by the temple Nadaswaram ensemble during ceremonial processions of the deity. The rhythmic patterns symbolize movement, majesty, and celebration, evoking the grandeur of a divine procession. In Bharatanatyam, Mallari is choreographed as a pure dance (*Nritta*) piece that showcases intricate footwork, dynamic rhythmic sequences, geometric formations, and graceful movements. It highlights the dancer's command over rhythm (*laya*), precision, stamina, and synchronization with the accompanying artists, creating an atmosphere of devotion and festive energy. This presentation celebrates the timeless traditions of South Indian temple culture while demonstrating the elegance, discipline, and vitality of Bharatanatyam. Accompanied by Smt.
