Our 8-day Mount Kilimanjaro journey comes to an emotional end. While we couldn’t reach Uhuru Peak due to injury, our daughter successfully summited and fulfilled our dream by hosting the flags and honoring His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th Birthday—the Year of Compassion. We completed our celebration at base camp, returned safely to Moshi, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to our amazing crew.
