Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a city formed in 1935 by the merger of Garmisch and Partenkirchen. Zugspitze is the highest point in Germany at 2,962m above sea level, so it has developed into a tourist resort as well as a skiing and mountaineering spot. If I have time, I want to walk leisurely through the streets of the night to the city I want to visit again.
