Nowa klinika pediatryczna dla Pacjentów onkologicznych i hematologicznych w Poznaniu

Young and adolescent patients from Greater Poland will be treated at the newly built, modern, and beautiful Pediatric Oncology, Hematology, and Transplantology Clinic at the K. Jonscher Clinical Hospital in Poznań! After many years of effort and work, the new pavilion for children with oncological and hematooncological diseases was finally officially opened in early October 2022. As one of the donors of this investment, the DKMS Foundation was honored to participate in this event. This is what Prof. Dr. Jacek Wachowiak, MD, PhD, Head of the Pediatric Oncology, Hematology, and Transplantology Clinic at the Poznań University of Medical Sciences, has to say: President of the Association for Supporting Bone Marrow Transplantation and Pediatric Oncology – Dzieciaki Chojraki: "What first seemed almost impossible 13 years ago, then uncertain, has come to pass, until construction began in August 2020 (...) So, not for the first time, it turned out that the impossible becomes possible when you meet many kind and helpful people, who are also sensitive to the suffering of children with cancer and their families."
