2006 Autocar WXLL Labrie Cool Hand- Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery

Here we have truck number 1, from Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery (MDRR) / Concord Disposal Service. This sweet 2006 Autocar WXLL Labrie Cool Hand is one of a few that they still have running. As of now, I believe the Concord yard still has around 4 of these running daily, and their Pittsburg and Antioch yards may have a few as well. This is just what I know based off what drivers have told me. While Cool Hands definitely are not the most efficient, they are the first automated trucks this company ever bought, so it is neat to see them still in use. MDRR has since moved on from the Cool Hand model, with a fairly large fleet of Labrie Automizers that have almost entirely taken over their residential fleet. Despite that, a few of these Cool Hands still remain for the time being. This particular truck is seen here doing residential in tighter cul-de-sac areas, so enjoy the mix of the arm itself, as well as the tipper in action.
