Dark Stuff #153 - RIP Jessi Zazu (Those Darlins)

Jessi Zazu Wariner (1989-2017). Jessi Zazu (aka Jessi Darlin) passed away yesterday after her struggle with cancer. She was only 28. I was a huge fan of her band, Those Darlins, and was fortunate enough to see the band perform on three occasions. Over the course of their career, the Darlins' music mixed country, punk, garage, and traditional rock. They broke up in early 2016. I made a video lamenting the end of the band:    • Say Goodbye to Those Darlins  . Shortly after the break-up, Jessi received her cancer diagnosis. Go to a record store or amazon or whatever and buy a Those Darlins album. Search for them on youtube, there are a million videos. Do what you can. It's great stuff. R.I.P. Jessi.
