How a Russian Tactic is Used In ASEAN - Reflexive Control Explained

PLEASE READ THE BELOW 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 Is Thailand using Russia’s information warfare tactics against Cambodia? 🙏🏻 ✨ DISCLAIMER: ALL OF BELOW ARE WRITTEN BY ME AND NOT AI - Reflexive control is a Soviet-born strategy that manipulates an opponent’s perceptions so precisely that they make decisions that ultimately benefit their adversary. In the 2025 Cambodia–Thailand border conflict, Thailand weaponized this doctrine not through brute force, but through narrative warfare—framing Cambodia as the aggressor even when a Cambodian soldier was killed first, flooding social media with fake news it later debunked, dominating hashtags while silencing opposing voices, rejecting international mediation while calling for peace, and invoking historical claims to stoke nationalism. Through these moves, Thailand fooled both its citizens and much of the international press—shaping reality to its favor while hiding behind diplomacy and denial. The result is a carefully orchestrated lie that has shifted global sympathy, eroded Cambodia’s truth, and exposed just how dangerous it is to trust a state that uses information as a weapon instead of a path to peace. So I call for the world to watch this video and my findings and to always fact check news that Thai media put out because the patterns and data show that 90% of the time their media is always lying. This video is to raise awareness on the bullying and information warfare tactic used by Thailand using data, sources and pattern that i have collected over the past months which you can check in the findings below. This video is not and never intended to promote hate but to rather raise awareness on the conflict and to let our ASEAN community uncover the dirty tactics Thailand used to manipulate the media and the world. 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 After months of tension along the Cambodia–Thailand border—and now a ceasefire—I began to notice something deeply unsettling. The media narratives. The diplomatic patterns. The silence on one side, and noise on the other. 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 So I started digging. What I found shocked me. Well, firstly, Thailand isn’t Russia. But the tactics they’re using oriignated from a Soviet strategy called *Reflexive Control (you can read my finding in the PDF) and* they are disturbingly similar. And it is also convenient that Thailand has military education exchange with Russia up until today even after Russia invaded Ukraine. This doctrine “Reflexive Control”, designed by the Soviet Union in the 60s, is created to manipulate the enemy’s perception so effectively that they end up making decisions that benefit their adversary willingly In this video, I break down the five tools Thailand has been using in this conflict, intentionally or not, that mirror Russia’s own disinformation playbook so below is how Thailand used Reflexive control Please if you can, watch the video on youtube, as more international audiences will be on mainstream platform and if possible, we want to share our voice and this research to them. 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 Disclaimer And this will be the last video i am covering on politics. I am a student of data who loves researching and never really likes politics but i felt like what the Thailand has done to Cambodia over the past months show that diplomacy can be quite fragile if one party doesn’t act in good faith so i pray for nothing but the peace for the nation i grew up in and for the nation i believe in. In the future, i’ll be making more videos on something more positive so i hope you will still support the works i do Chapter: 0:00 Intro 0:22 The Tactic 1:00 What caused my suspicion? 2:20 Something feels off 3:03 First Pattern 3:43 THE RABBIT HOLE 4:50 Information Pattern 5:50 Thailand Russia relationship 6:40 I present my findings Source: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uup6...
