In this first chapter of the journey, we hook up the Big Horn RV to Sapphire and begin the long trip south to Milton, Florida as we kick off the 2026 fundraising campaign for the Lee and Betty Johnson Memorial Charity. Not everything went according to plan. Along the way, we ran into a truck stop that ran out of fuel, battled rough roads that left a few things inside the RV needing repairs, and learned quickly that every adventure has its surprises. Despite the bumps in the road, we safely arrived at Unhitched Campgrounds in Milton, Florida, where we met up with our good friend Gary from Jail Bait & Tackle Outdoors and officially began the Florida or Bust adventure.
