These are excerpts from several conversations between Ukrainska Pravda journalists and residents of Pokrovsky and the surrounding villages, to which the front continues to approach. Together with volunteers evacuating civilians - chaplain Leonid Nomerchuk and an employee of the Proliska mission Yevhen Tkachev - we spent two days in the Pokrovsky district. Unfortunately, not all the residents we met were persuaded to leave. Even those who had submitted applications for evacuation refused. 3 of our observations: those who have children in rear towns agree to leave much more easily. Or those to whom volunteers can offer 100% accommodation in good conditions.
