Russian air defense forces (ADF) shot down a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) flying towards Moscow. This was reported by the mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin, on his channel in the messenger "Max". Later, he reported on repeated attacks by Ukrainian UAVs, "Specialists of emergency services are working at the site of the fall of debris," the head of the capital added. In total, seven Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) heading to Moscow were destroyed since 00:00 Moscow time. On the morning of July 3, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that during the night the air defense forces eliminated 155 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of the country. Some of the targets were neutralized over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. Other drones were intercepted in the capital region, Krasnodar Territory, Crimea and eight regions.
