Volvo V50 Front Suspension - Ep#2, wishbones (front lower control arms) replacement

Episode 2 of the Volvo V50 front end rebuild, this episode covers the lower control arms (wishbones) In this series, we change major components of the front suspension, including drive shafts. Episode 1 shows dismantling, following episodes are wishbone replacement, shock absorbers, brakes and drive shafts. The procedure as shown does apply to Volvo C30, S40, V50 models, also some Ford Focus and Mazda models. Depending on engine and transmission, dimensions might be slightly different, but the general principle is the same. The wishbones are a rather simple job, but if you got Xenon lights, there is a feature at the front right lower arm which is quite important.
