Sunehra Safar – The Golden Journey Part Five: A tribute to His Highness the Aga Khan IV, sung by Shabnam Merali with lyrics by Al-Waez Zulfiqar Ali Jessani AKDN, The Aga Khan Development Network enjoys worldwide support and recognition and has become the symbol of hope for the people of the developing countries. In continuation of the glorious tradition of learning, a series of Aga Khan Academies, Schools of Excellence were established in different countries, with the aim of providing quality education in the socio-cultural context of the respective regions. The conservation of Darb-ul-Ahmar and Al-Azhar Park added beauty to the historic city of Cairo, the legacy of the Fatimids. Another high profile Jamatkhana was built in the cosmopolitan city of Dubai. An Amman, an Islamic Conference was organized under the auspices of the Jordanian Government. In his message to the conference, Hazar Imam re-emphasized the need for looking towards ‘Seerat-e-Nabvi’ for Inspiration and Guidance. The Delegation of Ismaili Imamat, the Centre for Pluralism, and the Museum are other projects being setup in Canada to promote the cause of pluralism and civil society. World leaders are also enlightened by the divine vision of Imam-e-Zaman. They meet Imam-e-Zaman from time to time, which reflects the global nature of the leadership that our imam is providing. Different Governments and Organizations have presented awards and conferred degrees on Mawlana Hazar Imam, in recognition of his contribution for the common good of humanity. And now we have reached the memorable year of the Golden Jubilee, which will bring lots of Blessings and Barakaat in our lives. The charisma of Karimi Imamat continues and so does our journey towards glory. Lots of Mubarak of Golden Jubilee to the Jamats all over the World.
