Withypool St Andrew's Bells

Whilst on holiday in Exmoor I joined Withypool for their practice night for some basic ringing. This video features some basic call changes. The bells themselves handled pretty good, though I only sampled the back 3. They are a little loud in the ringing room and pretty clanky and out of tune, but the main problem is the state of the tower. I've never been in a more algal tower and despite all the recent dry weather the walls were dripping wet. The tower rarely gets rung for services and is rung once a month for practice with the other village churches in the area
