Christmas Eve Panfish Slam at Beck Lake
Since I had some leftover waxies and minnows from my last video I filmed here, I decided to pay Beck Lake another visit on this unusually warm Christmas Eve. Similar to my last session, waxies on ice jigs got the attention of bluegills and minnows attracted bass with an occasional crappie thrown in the mix. Bass were in shallow, bluegills and crappies spread across various depths. After weeding through lots of small 'gills, I was able to muster a few keepers in the end. I will likely need to wait a few weeks now before the ice thickens back up after this warm weather.
