Wild lightning storm hits Napa Valley 6/9/13

A low pressure area snuck into California on 6/9/2013 and brought with it, monsoonal moisture and atmospheric instability. The result was 5 hours of nearly constant lightning and thunder rumbling. It was the wildest thunderstorm to hit the area in many years. Most lightning was in-cloud and cloud-to-cloud. The lightning gets more intense as the video progresses. This part of California very rarely ever sees thunderstorms, so this was a treat indeed!
