In August 2009, former TSE (Superior Electoral Court) minister José Guilherme Villela, his wife Maria Carvalho Villela, and the family's maid, Francisca Nascimento da Silva, were found dead in their apartment in the 113 South block of Brasília. In a scene from a horror movie, everyone wondered who had committed such cruelty. The police quickly realized the great mystery they had on their hands and decided to find a culprit to call their own: Adriana Villela, the couple's daughter. Three men were also considered as perpetrators: Leonardo, the building's former doorman; his nephew Paulo; and Mairton, Leonardo's neighbor and clearly a useful innocent. The Globoplay documentary, "Crime of 113 South," analyzes the entire case and raises the question that neither the police nor the public prosecutor's office can answer: Is Adriana really the mastermind behind all this?
