From Kuala Lumpur To PENANG: First Impressions of GEORGE TOWN

In this video we leave Kuala Lumpur and make our way to George Town on the beautiful island of Penang. George Town is known for its street food and its street art and we were really excited to check out! We start our day by struggling to find Kuala Lumpur’s central station and then take the 4 hour train to Butterworth station. From there it’s a short ferry ride to George Town on Penang Island. We check into our quirky hotel in George Town and then head out to Chulia Street, where you can find one of the many smaller street food markets. We really loved our time in George Town, as it’s got a really relaxed vibe and it’s a lot of fun to explore the picturesque streets and beautiful street art on foot.
